There seems to be some cooking instructions missing!!!!!
I just made it and they were pretty good. A little salty and the cream sauce broke… But it still tasted good
Here is my take on the missing directions
Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Make a roux by adding the parmesan cheese to the melted butter and blend.
Add in the cream and milk stirring constantly till blended. Add in remaining sauce ingredients. Simmer on
low do not boil.
Layer the chips in an oven proof cooking vessel, pour sauce over chips and layer remaining nacho ingredients.
Heat in a 350F oven till cheese is melted. Remove and enjoy.
Thank you Connie,
Sounds like a good way to go about it. ?
Thanks Connie, sounds right !! I’m going to try this on Sunday . Let you know how it turns out . ?
…the only problem with those instructions is that these are CAMPING nachos…I do not believe there are ovens in the forest(: lol
Works great over an open fire in a cast iron pan. Not a bite left.
how long over the campfire…how do you know its done
Instead of making a cream sauce, try a good quality alfredo Sauce. It tastes great.
Good thing I read Connie’s comment ?
I made them in the oven in a casserole and they came out great.
