Jalapeño Popper Egg Bake

Jalapeño Popper Egg Bake

Jalapeño Popper Egg Bake

  • 1 Jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 milk
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 cup cheese (I used shredded cheddar)
  • 1 cup bacon, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Start by whisking together the eggs, milk, seasoned salt, cheese and bacon. Pour this mixture into a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Pull of little chunks of cream cheese and place them around the top of the egg mixture. Do the same and place the jalapeño slices on the top as well.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes depending on how big of a baking dish you are using.

  1. 1/2 (of What?) of milk? a cup? thanks for the recipe, seems yummy. Would love to make it if I can find out about the correct amount of milk. Thanks

  2. Assuming that’s 1/2 cup of milk. I’d use pickled jalapenos instead of fresh (better flavor, IMO) and I’d reduce the bacon and increase the cheeses.

  3. Made this quiche tonight and followed the exact recipe except I added more cheese and then jalepeno on top. Also I had to bake it for close to 30-40 minutes. But it was amazing!!! Great recipe!

  4. Made this tonight and it was delicious. Will definitely be making again. I put it in a pie crust. Also had to bake for about 40 min, as it was still jiggly at 25 min.

  5. Really good! I subbed turkey breakfast sausage for the bacon and added chopped spinach and green chilies. Omitted the cream cheese.
Mine needed to bake for 35 minutes.
    Simple and tasty recipe!
