Ingredients

  • 1 box Nature Valley Granola Bars
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly chopped strawberries

Instructions

  1. Put the Nature Valley granola bars in a food processor and process until you achieve a course crumb.
  2. Cover and freeze for three hours or more and enjoy!

  2. omg !! I want to try this too ! Are all the ingredients mixed together ? What about the topping ? Is that just granola ? I would think the sugar might be with the granola on top but I don’t want to waste a bunch of ingredients by doing it wrong.
    Please respond ! I would love to make this asap !

  3. Ingredients:

    ½ cup flour
    2 egg whites
    1 box Nature Valley Granola Bars
    ½ cup white sugar
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1 cup heavy whipping cream
    ½ cup cream cheese
    1 lemon
    1/3 cup melted butter
    1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, chopped

    Method:

    Chop the granola bars with a food processor and transfer the crumbs into a large bowl. Add the brown sugar, flour, the melted butter and mix well. Place the mixture into a greased pan and bake for 20 minutes into the preheated oven, at 350 F. While it cools, whisk the egg whites with sugar, in a large bowl, add the whipping cream and keep whisking for about 5 minutes. Pour the lemon juice along with the cream cheese and incorporate the strawberries. Prepare a glass baking dish and layer half of the granola crumbs mix on the bottom. Add the strawberry cream and top with the remaining crumbs. Freeze over night, serve and enjoy!
